Hi Sarda, and welcome.

Friday (animal) theme posts are not uncommon in the blogosphere - I started mine partly in resonse to PZ Myer's Friday Cephalopod feature over at Pharyngula. I've also encountered several, er, fluffier blogs with Friday Cat-Blogging themes.
